Common questions about LinkBackfill and this documentation.
Is a Connection the same as an individual match?
No. A Connection is the configuration describing boards, matching rules, and outputs. Running it can identify matches across the records in its scope.
Does scanning change board data?
Scan & Preview is the inspection step. Applying changes is a separate action that you confirm.
Can I use LinkBackfill without realtime sync?
Yes. Use the manual Scan & Preview and Apply workflow. Realtime synchronization is optional.
Does pausing reverse previous changes?
No. Review existing results in monday.com. Do not assume a general rollback is available.
Where are supported column choices listed?
The Connection editor offers the available choices for your boards and operation. Check the preview instead of assuming all column types behave alike.
What is a managed cell?
A destination record and column that LinkBackfill is configured to maintain. See Billing & managed cells.
Do I need a Madrigal website account?
No. These pages are public static documentation. App installation and permissions are handled in monday.com.
